Artist Michael D’Antuono’s Painting of President Barack Obama titled, “The Truth”
Today, April 29th, 2009, marks President Barack Obama’s 100th day in office. It is also the day of unveiling Artist Michael D’Antuono’s painting of President Obama – which portrays in a worldly note of blasphemy, Obama with arms outstretched wearing a crown of thorns upon his head and the Presidential Seal in the background. Drew Zahn, “WorldNetDaily,” on Obama Watch Central writes even the title of D’Antuono’s painting “The Truth” suggests a play on words concerning the biblical passage in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” The painting is to be unvieled in all it’s messianic, religous imagery at New York City’s Union Square. Sized at 30″ x 54″ , the acrylic painting on canvas show’s President Obama appearing much like our Holy Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, on Calvary’s Cross.
I am reminded of the Nations of Islam’s leader Louis Farrakhan, who boldly declared last year that when Obama speaks, “the Messiah is absolutely speaking.” Farrakhan stated concerning Barack Obama, to a large crowd with a Nation of Islam Saviour’s Day – 2008, “You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn’t care anything about. That’s a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking.”
D’ ANTUONO’S PAINTING DEPICTING PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA AS THE NEW CORONATED MESSIAH IS PATHETIC!
Pop culture musical artist “Fergie” has a hit song, “Get Your Hands Up,” that reminds me of this painting. In that song Fergie sings, “Why you gotta be so pathetic?” Portraying Obama much like Jesus Christ is obviously sacrilegious towards the evangelical Christian faith. Jesus Christ, the one true God, is the only God who wore a crown of thorns and gave his life with outstretched arms on Calvary’s Cross so His children might live. The audacity of such artist’s depictions is called freedom of speech in America. In foreign country’s where Muslims practice their spiritual beliefs such artistic endeavors portraying Mohammad in a sacrilegious form or depiction would most likely end the life of the artist. According to Aaron J. Leichman, “The Christian Post,” D’Antuono’s painting drew such public outrage the unveiling was scraped.
WHAT HAS PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA ACCOMPLISHED IN HIS FIRST ONE HUNDRED DAYS IN OFFICE?
President Obama has spent a whole lot of money, issuing a Government takeover of the U.S. banking system, which has also caused public outrage among many Americans. I for one have gone on record long before bails outs were issued at our political voice website: www.concernedsingleamericans.com, to let private American enterprise work on its own, prosper or fail. I was raised by a father who grew up during the depression. There were no bail outs then. Yet America came back stronger in resolve and firmer in the right to pursue the American dream. The USSR handled big Government industry and management, where are they now? Under President Obama’s administration the United States Government has taken control of the automotive industry, the mortage and loan business, and the right to life by blocking emergency medical aid for babies who survived abortion. He has also passed stem cell research that places fetal remains and aborted babies used for research back on the market. IS PRESIDENT OBAMA’S CHANGE DESIGNED WITH A SOCIALIST AGENDA PLAN?
No doubt President Barack Obama has held true to his campaign motto for change. However, my hands are not raised up in approval as Obama’s change is not the kind of change I am comfortable with. D’Antuono’s artistic portrait of President Obama is titled “The Truth.” The real truth in my opinion? “Any Government that can supply all you need, can take away all you have.”
